San Gabriel Foothills Indivisible announced a “No Kings 3.0” march and rally in Pasadena on Saturday, March 28, as part of a planned nationwide day of protest.

The event will mark the local chapter’s third participation in the No Kings protest series since June 2025.

Participants will gather at 11 a.m. at Pasadena City College, 1570 E. Colorado Blvd., according to the announcement. The march to Pasadena City Hall is scheduled from 11:15 a.m. to noon, followed by a rally with music and speakers on the Garfield steps at 100 N. Garfield Ave.

Those who choose not to march can assemble directly at City Hall, organizers said,

More than 4,000 people attended the first Pasadena No Kings demonstration on June 14, 2025, according to city estimates.

“We took seriously the ideals of Indivisible to block the Trump 2.0 agenda, become leaders in a sustained, peaceful, non-violent protest movement and to push our elected representatives to fight back as strongly against this un-American, cruel, authoritarian regime,” SGFI organizer Patrick R. Briggs said ahead of the October No Kings event.

Nationally, Indivisible co-founder Ezra Levin has predicted the March 28 protests will be the largest protest in American history.

“This isn’t about Democrats versus Republicans. This is about do we have a democracy at all?” Levin said.

San Gabriel Foothills Indivisible, a local chapter of the national Indivisible network, has also held weekly “Save U.S. Saturdays” protests at Colorado Boulevard and Fair Oaks Avenue in Old Pasadena since Jan. 24.
